Scaling the Human: Designing Human Neural-Computer Interfaces
Prof. Dustin Tyler (Ken H. Smith Professor II, Case Western Reserve University) will discuss how his Human Fusion Institute is working to create human-computer connections that interface directly with our nervous system. From an initial test case creating a prosthetic that provides the sense of touch, to developing an open platform that might create an app store for the senses, Dr. Tyler discusses what merging our senses with computer and devices could mean for the future.
