Every patient who goes under the knife is at risk for crazy complications during or after surgery which could ultimately result in death. And as crazy as that is, it’s even crazier to find out that Selena was in a situation that could have resulted in her death immediately following her kidney transplant last summer.
Sel’s best friend and kidney donor, Francia Raisa, opened up to W magazine about the scary moment she realized Selena could have died shortly after their joint procedure. Francia talked about how their recovery post-surgery and explained that things could’ve taken a turn for the worse for Selena.
