United States approves $100 million deal for Taiwan’s Missile Upgrade

In a boost to Taiwan’s missile defense systems, the United States has approved a 100 million dollar defense support contract. The approval comes amid heightened tensions with China, it will sustain maintain and improve the self-ruled island’s patriot missile defense system.
